Apple pressing and juicing at Denbies

Apple pressing and juice-making event to celebrate Apple day. Outside the Village
Greens shop, at the Denbies Wine Estate. Depending on the harvest, up to a tonne of
apples will be pressed into juice. We use a mixture of varieties, some from the
Dorking Orchard itself, and some from local orchards in the Dorking area. Fresh
pressed juice will be available for tasting, and for sale in 1-litre bottles. What remains
will be made into cider. We welcome members of the public to bring their own
apples to be pressed. For a small charge, we bottle this in 1-litre bottles for the visitor
to take away. Our team will be happy to help carry apples from the car park to the
pressing!
